CBLI’s human resource strategy is built on working through its full time consultants for the most part and engaging high level and committed associates to deliver specialized assignments. CBLI ensures quality delivery through proper induction of the associates, supervision by the Managing Director and an institutionalized peer review mechanism. CBLI presently has one full time Director, one full time organizational development consultant and 3 support staff members.

Prudence Kaijage

Prudence has long track record of project development and implementation in the Eastern and Southern Africa Region. He has a deep insight into the social and political fabric of the Region with over 25 years’ post-graduate experience in the public, private and development sector. He has over 10 years’ senior management experience in a Danish International Training Centre with significant change results. Prudence has also consulted for over 50 national and International organizations and has been a Board member for over 14 years in reputable organizations. His key competence areas are strategy development, facilitation skills, resolving organizational conflicts, strengthening board governance, developing human resource development plans, institutionalizing learning and monitoring systems, mentoring and coaching leaders as well as team building.

Dolygene Anyona

Dolygene Anyona is an Organization development (OD) practitioner with over nine years’ experience as a capacity building expert. Before that she worked in marketing of health services and health education. The largest chunk of her work life was spent as a Change and Transition Manager for a capacity building organization based in Arusha-Tanzania which worked in the East African region. She has been involved in independent work in the East African region, where she has covered areas of Organizational Assessment, M&E and Strategic Planning for 15 organizations in the past two years and from August 2017 will be the full-time consultant with CBLI Centre. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and is currently pursuing masters in organizational psychology.

Nyantito Machota

Nyantito Machota is an experienced Management and Organization Development Professional with over 18 years of experience in Program/Project Management, Institutional development and delivery of technical assistance solutions in public and private sector as well as Civil Society Organizations in East Africa. He has extensive experience in Financial Management, Grants Management, Strategy, Change Management, Human Centred Innovations, Resource Mobilization, Leadership, Governance, Accountability, Designing and delivering Organizational Learning and Capacity Building interventions in public and private sector. As a professional and development practitioner, he has helped a number of organizations in solving complex business and organizational problems with the right solutions and methodologies. He has delivered a wide-range of developmental trainings and interventions to different institutions in East Africa. He has helped clients solve complex problems through advising them on the right solutions. This involved planning, managing and delivering large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions.  His experience is backed up with a strong educational background in Accounting, Organization Development (OD), and Community Economic Development.  He has Masters of Science in Community Economic Development and Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (B’COM Accounting).

CBLI ASSOCIATES

Dr. Rose Oluoch

Dr. Rose Oluoch has a PH.D. in curriculum development from Virginia Polytechnic and State University in USA, and a Masters Degree in education development from Stockholm University Sweden. Dr. Oluoch is a development specialist with a focus on public policy and development. Dr. Oluoch has over 15 years in policy analysis, capacity building, advocacy and lobbying including intergovernmental negotiations. Dr. Oluoch is a founding member of the SDG’s Kenya Forum, and currently works as the Governance and Partnerships coordinator for the SDG’s Kenya Forum, a role that involves developing new partnerships and fundraising for the Forum’s activities.

Dr. Oluoch has extensive experience of working with civil society, government, academic Institutions, and multilateral organizations. Previously whilst working with World Wild Fund -Africa she participated in High level policy engagements at the United Nations, Africa Union, East Africa Community, and the UN Economic Commission for Africa (among others), whereby she was involved in lobbying and influencing for SDG’s. She is also a core team member of the Africa Working Group which is supporting the implementation of SDG’s and Agenda 2063 across Africa.

Andrew Hyeroba

A multi – sectoral Human Resources and Organizational Development professional with more than fifteen years of experience successfully leading, designing, implementing and managing complex Human Resources, Organizational Development and change management strategies and initiatives in the public, private and not-for profit sectors in Africa and Asia with international organizations like Oxfam, ActionAid, World Customs Organization, FAO and the World Bank and other regional and national organizations like National Information Technology Authority – Uganda, Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority Uganda.

His experience is rooted in a sound academic background achieved as part of his Master of Organizational Psychology, his membership with the International Association of Applied Psychology as well as his extensive exposure in East, West, Central and Southern Africa, Asia and Europe.

Christine Nantongo Mukasa

Christine Nantongo Mukasa is a Ugandan, Development Communication specialist and multi-disciplinary practitioner with over 18 years service in leadership, management, development programming, grants management and monitoring largely in non profit organisations. Her work has been characterized by capacity building through technical advice, training, mentoring and nurturing local, regional and continental non state actors and their partners in East and southern Africa.

Christine’s notable leadership, management and programme development roles have been within the environment, accountability, agriculture and extractives sectors as well as targeted cross cutting themes such as gender and climate change.

Mr. Michael Muchilwa

Mike Muchilwa is a Private Enterprise Development Consultant. His key expertise includes Resource Mobilisation strategy and capacity building, strategic and business plan development. Mike also has experience in project development and evaluation, entrepreneurship, small business development and Fair Trade. He is one of Africa’s leading resource mobilisation strategists.

As a consultant, he has been involved in a number of development projects for several donors (DFID, GEF/UNDP, UNEP, EU-MESP, The Royal Netherlands Embassy, USAID, UNCDF and UNDP) and institutional clients covering agriculture, HIV Aids, planning, small enterprise development, value chain analysis, internal control systems, quality control systems, eco-tourism, micro credit, small business development amongst others.

Mike Naholi is the current Chair of the Kenya Association of Fundraising Professionals and one of Africa’s leading Resource Mobilization Consultants. He has over 27 years’ experience in resource mobilisation and has carried out donor mapping, research, developed strategic documents, facilitated training programmes, trained boards, senior management, fundraising staff, students and beneficiaries across a wide spectrum of organizations.

Muchilwa holds a degree in economics from the University of Nairobi. He has written two books titled, The Job of Getting a Job and “The Side Hustle- Running a Business Besides Your Job. He has co-authored an award-winning Philanthropy book —Global Fundraising — How the world is changing the rules of philanthropy” with other global consultants. He has also contributed to another award-winning book, Diversity and Philanthropy: Expanding the Circle of Giving.

Annmarie Mavenjina Nkelame

Ms. Annmarie Mavenjina Nkelame is a lawyer and an advocate and has 15 years’ work experience in the following; legal and human rights issues, women and children rights, gender, programme development and management, fundraising and donor relations, gender, governance, research and advocacy, facilitation and documentation. Annmarie has worked with civil society organizations at national and international level. She possesses excellent skills in leadership, training, research, fundraising and organization management. Excellent written and oral communications skills complement her direct, hands-on approach.

Jasper Morara

A seasoned organization development specialist with over 15 years’ experience. Specialized in process facilitation, organizational capacity assessment, management of organizational change processes, strategic planning, resource mobilization planning, training design and implementation, mentoring and coaching. Provided technical support to organizations and institutions in several sectors including the environment, agriculture, food security, health, education, energy, governance and social justice. Has work experience in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, South Sudan, Eritrea, Somalia, Namibia, Swaziland, Burundi, Sierra Leone, Malawi and Afghanistan. Experienced in the implementation of projects and programs funded by various donors including USAID, SIDA, DANIDA, UNDP, and GIZ.

Ronald Kitanda

Kitanda is predominantly a process consultant and professionally qualified as a training facilitator, social researcher and social development practitioner. He is a holder of a B.A (Social Work and Social Administration) of Makerere University, Uganda and an M.A in Development Studies (Dublin-Ireland).

He has undertaken a several other professional programmes of study in development from Bonn (Germany), Bangalore (India) Strasbourg (France), Arusha (Tanzania), and Uganda. Kitanda has been widely involved in facilitating development efforts of local communities, NGOs, and similar development agencies for about 20 years as of to date. His interaction as a facilitator of development and related change processes has exposed him to various work settings and processes, thus nurturing him to work with people of diverse cultural and professional backgrounds, which have proven invaluable in the consultancy work he is engaged in.
